1. Overview
Swiss Rental Dossier helps users create a rental application dossier PDF and offers a free rental checklist lead magnet. This Privacy Policy explains what data is processed when you use the generator, payment flow, and lead capture forms.
2. Generator Data
The dossier generator may include apartment details, applicant contact details, employment information, household details, and selected document checklist items. This data is used to create the preview, generated PDF, and related application email text.
3. Lead Magnet Data
If you request the free checklist, we store your email address, selected interface language, form source, and operational timestamps such as when the checklist email, follow-up emails, download events, or unsubscribe event were recorded. This lead data is stored in a dedicated leads table and is not stored in the temporary draft table used for paid PDF generation.
4. Lead Emails And Unsubscribe
Lead magnet emails include the initial checklist email and limited follow-up emails related to the rental dossier product. Each email includes an unsubscribe link. If you unsubscribe, we record that status so future follow-up emails are no longer sent to that address.
5. Storage And Retention
Before payment, dossier form data is saved as a temporary encrypted server-side draft so the PDF can be generated after Stripe redirects you back to the success page. Browser local storage may be used only to help you continue editing the form. Lead magnet records are stored longer than temporary drafts so the service can prevent duplicate sends, manage follow-up scheduling, and maintain unsubscribe suppression. Unsubscribed records may be retained so the same address is not re-added accidentally.
6. Payments And PDF Generation
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store card numbers or payment card details. Stripe may process your email address, payment status, and transaction metadata according to Stripe's own privacy policy. After a successful payment, the encrypted temporary draft is opened on the server to generate the PDF. Generated PDFs are not stored publicly.
7. Analytics And Cookies
If analytics is enabled, we may collect privacy-friendly usage events such as page views, wizard progress, checkout starts, payment verification, PDF downloads, lead form views, lead form submissions, and server-side lead email delivery events. These events are used to understand conversion performance and improve the product. Lead analytics events do not include your email address. Stripe may use cookies or similar technologies during checkout.
8. Your Choices And Contact
You can clear locally stored dossier data by using the reset button in the generator or by clearing your browser storage for this site. You can unsubscribe from lead follow-up emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email. For privacy questions, contact: rentdossier@gmail.com.
