Privacy and personal data
The current Privacy Policy is the source of truth. In practical terms, the service handles data as follows:
- Form data can include apartment, contact, employment, household, and document-checklist information.
- Before payment, the dossier is stored as a temporary encrypted server-side draft so the PDF can be generated after Stripe checkout.
- Temporary drafts and generated PDFs use a 24-hour storage lifetime in the current implementation.
- Browser local storage may help you continue editing; you can clear it with the generator reset control or browser settings.
- Stripe processes payment details and related transaction data. RentDossier does not store card numbers.
- Analytics may record product-usage events when enabled; lead analytics events do not include email addresses.
Independent by design
RentDossier is not a landlord, real-estate agency, régie, property management company, or credit bureau. It does not decide who receives an apartment.
The service helps you prepare information and documents, but it cannot guarantee acceptance, availability, or a successful rental application.
